The QRP operation gives a unique possibility to combine ham radio and tourism. The equipment for QRP operation is weighed a little, therefore it is possible to take it with itself in a tourist campaign. It gives a unique possibility to combine two most interesting hobby - tourism and ham radio as many of radio amateurs are fond also in to tourism. It is possible now frequently to hear amateur Call sign, which come from climbing mountain camps, from different tourist meetings. Frequently radio amateurs, which go to a rest by the sea or in other countries take with itself QRP instrumentation, which gives them a possibility to listen to a drain ether, to keep abreast of radioamateur events and to work with the radio amateurs of those countries, where they are in the given moment

Thought to go away in Crimea in QRP - expedition for a long time was in heads of the members of our QRP-club. But only now in May, 2001 it was have been. We have thrown all matters (which always are pressing), have collected backpacks, have folded in them QRP-instrumentation, tourist equipment and have gone away in the Crimean mountains. This expedition represented a good possibility to the members of our QRP club to meet together, to visit ancient places of Crimea, to visit on AI-Petri mountain.

We recognized schedule to work from mountain conditions, to verify our self-made equipment in severe conditions AI-Petria plateau, to see remarkable places of Ancient Crimea. That for us has got, you find out from written below.
