After supper we have occupied in installation of equipment in our shack. It has appeared not a simple task for so small room. It must be placed so that on the equipment it would be convenient to work round day, and that there were no interference at climbing on the second floor of our wooden bed. That the antenna cables did not hinder to work, we have tied up them to ceiling and have lowered from above on desktop. To bed we have attached a thick wire, on which there went a lantern. The lantern could be fed both from batteries, and from small source of low voltage. The source work from main. It allowed to work all night not hindering to sleep by rest. In fig. 3 our arranging in shelter room is exhibited. On the bed marked, where who slept.

In a corner of the room there was an electrical fireplace. In my last trip when I was stayed in the shelter I used this fireplace. On irony of destiny I and earlier spent the night in this room! But this time we should not be powered up the fireplace.
Originally we have placed on desktop an old military written-off radio set R-143, self-made lamp transceiver with an output power 10 watts and my matching devices for HF-range. The vast lamp transceiver has occupied practically all desktop, and other instrumentation was installed on it. Here again has appeared, that in all these our transceivers and on antenna cables different antenna connectors! For fast switching of a matching device from the transceiver on to antenna, especially in night conditions, the unitization was necessary!
It was help to us my reducing couplings which I was made in my home before our expedition. Due to this we subsequently could manufacture necessary antenna fast switching. Once again I had to think that output antenna sockets, the microphones, keys, head-phones connectors should be strip-chart unified But, unfortunately, in a real life all get not how it we would like.
Also electrically have connected cords of supply units of all our transceivers. It has enabled to liberate to us superfluous sockets, which were subsequently necessary for hook up of an electric soldering iron, computer, and other gear. The preparatory stage for our equipment installation, antenna set-up with the help of a matching device was occupied a lot of time, but to 24 hours our equipment was ready for operation. Having conducted the last tuning of our transceivers, strict to 24 hour we have given a call - "CQ, This is EM5QRP!".

While we established and adjusted our transmitting gear, free from it members of our expedition caught on an observation desk of a rock Shishco. This day was one of few clear night, when from the Ai-Petri the night Yalta was visible. At this time in Yalta there was a variety concert on the air opened platforms (unfortunately we have not learned, whose concert it was), and fine it was visible searchlights and lasers from concert site. Once again we shall see night Yalta only in night before our leaving of Ai - Petri. All night before leaving the clouds are hung lower than our place on Ai-Petri or on Ai-Petri there was a rain and Yalta, as well as all other coast practically was not visible. Sometimes, only on some seconds the view on night coast opened, and was again closed by clouds.

But we shall return to our expedition. Having switched on equipment, we were staggered to improbable purity of ether. DX stations passed loudly and clear! Have begun to respond to us! The correspondents often did not believe us, that we use power up to 10 watts and simple antennas - vertical GP and wire LW. This day after a long and hard road all of us were very much tried, and have worked in ether only 1,5 hours we decided to go to sleep.
