For the second day of our expedition of May 5 we already have got used to our life in the shelter on Ai-Petri. It seemed for us that we here lived all life and what it is our house. We have got used to Ai-Petri effect, when the cloud closed sowing on antennas reception. We went out the shelter, looked at the sky and waited when the wind will disperse clouds and our transceiver again will work. Have got used that at the night because of clouds the reception could subitaneously completely cease on 10-20 minutes, and then be restored. Have got used to creeping arrow of antenna current of RF - ampermeter of matching devices, which during clouds passed through our antennas permanently varied.

The propagation on Ai-Petri was too rather peculiar. In the afternoon and morning it was the brightly expressed propagation on the south along meridians. We fine heard the southern countries and could work with our QRP-power with rather infrequent southern correspondents! For some reason on a north in morning and daylight the propagation was not so good.

In evening and night time the propagation on West, East and on North was opened. We could work with Japan, have conducted two QSO with USA. It is magnificent results if to take into account, that with USA we worked using only 8 watts power and LW antenna in 55 meter length. At the night on 30 meter range the amateur stations of USA were fine audible. They worked among themselves, with Europe - mainly with England and Spain, but us in USA heard poorly. The Japanese stations passed loud, and we managed to conduct many QSO with Japan. The European stations, especially from Italy and stations operating from islands of the Mediterranean sea were very well audible.

Was conducted much QSO with amateur radio from CIS countries. Some QSO's, which were are conducted with Far East of Russia it is possible to refer to DX-QSO. We worked with many stations, which used QRP-power. To conduct such double QRP-QSO was twice pleasantly.

I conducted observations over reception of a broadcasting VHF stations on Ai-Petri with the help of the receiver "TESCUN". Were well audible by VHF-FM station of Turkey, Italy. Very interesting there was HF-ranges reception. It completely coincid with propagation on amateur ranges. When a cloud was on our shelter propagation on HF ranges completely had stopped. But radiostation on LW-MW ranges were audible. The Ai-Petri effect influenced to propagation of VHF-FM station less, than on propagation on HF-ranges.
